Advans Ghana Savings and Loans Ltd was awarded the Savings and Loans Company of the Year, 2022 at the just ended 34th Annual National Marketing Performance awards held at Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on September 30, 2023.
According to the Institute, the award was in recognition of Advans Ghana’s segmentation drive which had a positive impact on its clientele base. and led to the introduction of key offerings that is the Advans Innovative Roadmap plus – a digital transformation initiative, Automatic loan renewal – a loan within 24 hours and the Shea Business Empowerment Programme which were developed through well researched, insight based and customer-centric market feedback.
In addition to this, Advans Ghana’s consistency in customer service and relationship building exertions exhibited through a well-disciplined and dedicated workforce to its clientele and evaluators was recognized and this set the company apart from its peers in the year under review.
Commenting on the award, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olivier Bailly-Béchet said “This award affirms the persistent hard work and continuous improvement we implore in the daily execution of our business transformation agenda for the benefit of our clients and staff. This is also an encouragement to continue to innovate to address the needs of our clients by always having a customer-centric approach.”

In a separate event, HR Focus Conference & Awards, 2023 organized by HR Focus at Accra International Conference Centre on September 28, 2023, Advans Ghana won the Most Promising HR Management, Banking & Finance award. The Chief Human Resources Officer of the company, Mrs. Mary Agyei Frimpong also received a citation as a finalist in the Human Resources Manager of the year category. Commenting on the HR award, Mrs. Mary Agyei Frimpong emphasized the institution’s ongoing investment in technological innovations and strategic HR practices, aiming to create an enabling work environment that enhances employee experience and enables them to serve clients effectively and efficiently.
Prior to receiving the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and HR Focus Awards, Advans Ghana won 3 Awards in 2023:
1. Brand of the Year Award (Savings and Loans Category) at the 2023 Ghana Business Standards awards organized by KN Communications,
2. Contribution to Financial Literacy at the maiden edition of the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Awards organized by GHAMFIN
