    Empowering our agric and rural clients through financial literacy and tailored financial products and services

    Financial Literacy program done for women in the Agric Value Chain to train and build their capacity  on specific topics around savings, basic bookkeeping and scaling up their business to improve their livelihoods. Since the launch of the program in the year 2023, more than 2,500 women leaders have been directly trained as trainers. These women leaders have subsequently trained over 30,000 women from 160 cooperatives in the 5 Northern Regions.

    Financial Literacy

    The institution has offered tailored and innovative financing products to smallholder farmer groups and cooperatives within the cocoa, rice, maize, oil palm and shea value chains to address their needs for inputs and mechanization services.

    26,000 smallholder farmers within the cocoa, oil palm, rice, maize and shea value chains have accessed financing for agricultural inputs and mechanization services.​

    Access to Financial Products

    In our commitment to support smallholder farmers increase their productivity, the institution has donated cutlasses, spraying machines, weighing scales and protective clothing to farmers within the rice and cocoa value chain and women cooperatives in the 5 Norther Regions engaged in picking of shea nuts.
