    Vision & Mission

    Why?

Developing countries and our MSME clients face rising risks from climate change. Advans is committed to protecting them as a responsible partner in these challenging times

    What?

Advans aims to equip clients with the right tools – awareness, education, and financial services – to face climate change risks. By building resilience, they can sustain their businesses and livelihoods for the long term

    How?

Advans aims to understand climate change impacts on its operations, integrate these into credit risk assessments, and identify vulnerable clients needing targeted training or services

To increase the resilience of our clients and their business to Urban flooding, we created awareness on urban flooding adaptation measures through flyers and social media campaigns.

    Climate Change Awareness Campaign

To understand climate change and become E&S ambassadors, we have raised awareness of our Staff on climate change and its impact on our clients and their business through the Climate Fresk.

    Staff Awareness Campaign (Climate Fresk)

Advans Ghana has decided to contribute to the Social Development Goal  by planting each year a number of trees equivalent to our yearly A4 paper consumption. Since its launched in 2019, Advans Ghana has planted over 3000 trees.

    Tree Planting Exercise

In order to take the most effective measure to reduce our carbon emissions, we conducted an assessment to estimate the amount of greenhouse gasses the company emits each year with an action plan to reduce our carbon footprint.
